What’s up with LinkedIn? Everyone is “super excited” and “happy to share that… “. Everyone dresses business casual, have pan am smiles and write posts so polished I suspect Marketing has told them what to write.
Noone makes mistakes or are frustrated. There’s even no one that writes a good rant.
To top it all off, people add others they haven’t even met, thinking it looks good on their social graph. But that’s made on the presumption that everyone else only adds people they know. Because if everyone assumes noone knows the ones they add, then the list of connections is reduced to a mere who-can-click-on-the-most-blue-buttons contest.
I think LinkedIn is turning into Disney World. Not the happy kind, but the 1984, George Orwell kind.
